WCOOP-91-L Will Crown a Champion Before the End of the Day; "pagan_junior" Leading

In the PokerStars WCOOP 2021 WCOOP-91-L: $55 NLHE [8-Max, NLHE Main Event], it’s time to award a Main Event Champion. There are nine players still alive for the last day of competition, but only one will be standing at the end of today, lifting the virtual trophy. Today’s winner will take home over $200,000, the largest portion of the $2,014,550 prize pool. Almost a third of the total prize fund is still up for grabs. Today’s players are guaranteed at least $12,908, but they’re all aiming for the top prize of $193,654. The final table has a total prize pool of $642,261 to be won, with two prizes of $100,000 or more and a third reward of slightly under that amount.

“pagan junior” of Sweden is the player with the best chance at winning the grand prize today. They begin Day 4 with the largest of two stacks of over 200,000, with Denmark’s “rickiolsen1988” coming in second with the other 200,000+ stack. The chip leader starts the day with a little more than 80 large blinds, while the second-place finisher will start with 72. Romanian “benea29” has the shortest stack. They won’t even have 10 big blinds to begin the day, with the average final table blinds for the first level of Day 4 being about 38 large blinds.

The huge prize pool, which was more than 33 percent more than the guarantee, was made up of over 40,000 total entries. There were 40,291 entries, with 24,368 unique players, 15,653 re-entries, and almost 12,600 players coming back for Day 2.

On Day 2, they played into the 5,663 paid places, eventually reducing the field to 160 participants. “joaomarcello” from Brazil was the leader at the conclusion of Day 2, but they couldn’t get any farther on Day 3, finishing in 49th position for a $1,993 reward. The final table bubble was Austria’s “pokerturo,” who finished in 10th place for $9,201 at the end of Day 3. The last day of play begins at 13:05 ET (17:05 GMT), with all action taking place in Level 60. For a few minutes, blinds will be at 150,000/300,000 (37,500) before moving to Level 61, with levels increasing every 20 minutes through Day 4
